SOLIDitech Presents Company Update and ‘Chill’ in Style

Cape Town Event

On Friday 24 March 2017 SOLIDitech hosted the Cape Town leg of their Company Update Meeting and ‘Chill’. Held at Silvermist Mountain Lodge the event began with scrumptious snacks and continued with the Company Presentation being delivered by CEO, Manuel De Jesus and COO, Charles Musto.

Post-presentation drinks and lawn games took place on the magnificent front lawn of the Green Vine Eatery. Giant Jenga, croquet and boule seemed to be the flavour of the moment with the croquet course proving challenging…

Before the evening festivities began though, we did manage to snap a wonderful Cape Town team photo. The team has grown significantly over the last 18 months and events such as these are a great way for everyone to relax, chat and have fun together.

We were also able to deliver our new branded company softshell jackets to everyone which turned out to be well-timed with a sudden change in the weather.

Full of drinks and hot chocolates we headed inside to hunker down in front of the fireplace and grab a bite to eat from the delicious braai buffet. Full tummies, happy team.

Johannesburg Event

The Johannesburg Company Update Meeting and Chill took place on the 2nd March 2017. With a slightly smaller team based in Johannesburg, the event took on a slightly different format.

The Company Presentation took place at our JHB offices in Fourways and was presented by COO, Charles Musto. From there the team made their way through peak hour JHb traffic to Montecasino for a delicious dinner at Verdicchio Restaurant and Wine Cellar. Dinner was followed by a mesmerising performance by the Blue Man Group at the Casino’s event arena.

When asked what he thought of the Blue Man Group show, Trevor Nel (SOLIDitech Team Leader) said “Epic! Awesome entertainment from start to end. The show was funny, musical, enthralling, unexpected and definitely weird! There’s not much more that can be said, it’s more of an experience that needs to be had…

Overall, both events were a total success in delivering key reporting and strategic company information through the presentations, followed by a great ‘chill’, giving everyone the opportunity to relax, chat and enjoy a fun evening.
